Check your work in the log$.$ Check your ranges using a second

PROC FORMAT with the fmtlib option.

Step $3.$

Save the data sets FULLSET and SHORTSET to your permanent library and call the SAS data set

SHORTSET.

Make sure to check the Log file to see that HW$.$SHORTSET was successfully created.

The data set should have $100$ observations and $11$ variables.

Run the PROC CONTENTS POSITION on HW$.$SHORTSET. Get familar with the variables.
