Students are expected to prepare and present a 500 word speech based on a topic of communication barriers/challenges. The expected speech formats, as taught in the course, must be used and you must consider your intended audience. .

To assist the lecturer in the grading of the speech, students are also asked to compose no more than two short paragraphs stating:
