Students will develop an annual budget based on the principles presented in the course. This assignment expects students to describe the organizational context (i.e. commercial, nonprofit, or public sector) of their entity as well as discuss the purpose and goals of their fiscal year budget in a narrative. In addition to the narrative students will create a budget using a spreadsheet and format of their choice. They are expected to provide logical revenue and expense categories. Lastly the overall budget project should be well organized, logically formatted, and professionally written.
