2) Engineer A was an engineer working in the renovation of a building to convert the wastage space to an office space. The manager who is working over this engineer was an architect who is superseded by a line manager in his company. The line manager often does not communicates with his fellow subordinates and makes crucial cost estimates without taking feedbacks or data's from the engineers. Since he is a person with no engineering background his estimates were not proper. So inorder to meet up with the cost estimates the manager forces engineer A to eliminate some design features from his design, which includes exit lights and fire fighting mechanism. Since both these features are mandated by building norms and codes engineer A refuses to do so. A conflict of interest arises in this case. Architect being the immediate manager to engineer A advises him to obey line manager. With reference to the fundamental canon conduct develop the rights and responsibility of engineer A. Advice him about the next immediate step he should undertake
