The lubrication operation occurs separately from, but simultaneously with, the greasing operation. All operations are done manually. Only one operator is assigned to each station. Determine which station is the bottleneck and subsequently calculate the monthly capacity of the above maintenance operations. (4 marks) b) Due to budget constraint, the maintenance operation is not allowed to work overtime. Instead, they are allowed to increase the station capacity. If the company predicts an average of 1000 units to be serviced each month, suggest how this demand can be served without any problem. Show the calculation to justify your suggestion. (4 marks)
