Before we dive further in this course, it's important that we take a moment to learn a bit more about one another. After all, your peers in this course will be your audience! Not only does this task help us build a better learning community, if we think about the purpose of this course $-$ communication $-$ it's important to understand something of our potential audience. Remember, at a number of different points in the course we're going to be writing to one another or working together to build something for others to see. Investing the time to learn about our peers helps ensure we can work effectively and efficiently together.

Start off by telling us a bit about where you're situated $-$ are you here in Canada? Are you overseas? What is about this course that interests you and what do you hope to take away from this course at the end? Where do you see yourself in terms of a career $5$ years from now? Also, don't be afraid to share something interesting about you as a person, such as a hobby.

After you've finished your introduction, which should be completed no later than Tuesday of Week $1,$ read the introduction posted by your peers. Respond to at least two other people's posts.
