Sue estimates that in the next week, the potter's wheel will be available for a maximum of 30 machine hours and the time she will have to spend working on her business is limited to 50 labor hours. It takes her 1 ¼ hours to make a flower pot and 2 hours to make an ashtray. Her profit on each pot is $5 and her profit on each ashtray is $12. Based on past demand, Sue projects ashtray sales to be a maximum of 15, while pot sales are not restricted. Her problem is determining how many units of each product she should make in the next week.
