You will complete $4$ of these papers throughout the semester. All summary response papers are to be $2$ double spaced pages or more. There should be two paragraphs $(1$ being a summary of the text that was read for the class period, and another paragraph in which you respond to the same text$).$ These two paragraphs should be roughly equal length. Each Summary$/$Response should discuss the chapter from Critical Theory Today and how that chapter applies to one of the readings from the week that your chapter of Critical Theory Today is found in$.$ You can choose the reading that you apply the critical theory to$.$ You have $4$ of these papers to do during the semester. You must turn in $1$ paper in each of the first four months of the class $($August$,$ September, October, and November$).$ You can choose which of the chapters to respond to each month.
