Summary With the increasing inflation we all know how difficult the situations have become in Canada in relation to paying mortgages, renting places and finding a job. In the above attached article, the project proposed is about the building of transit-oriented housing communities having 5900 units in Toronto, in order to improve public transportation access as well as to create jobs with over 1,900 jobs expected. The transit-oriented communities will be built in six places, with the biggest planned at Thorncliffe Park station, which will include 2,660 residential units. Other stops include 140 residential units in Eastern Avenue, 1,310 housing units in Gerrard-Carlaw South, 440 and 620 housing units in Pape and Cosburn stations respectively, and 770 units in the Scarborough Subway Extension. Also, it highlights the importance of stakeholder engagement and project affordability in urban development for which the project has undergone public input meetings and city reviews.
