Suppose that someone made a precedence matrix of all the tasks that are part of fabricating a complex assembly, and then decided to create an assembly line with three stations.

The respective stations along the assembly line were treated in an equal manner so that the precedence matrix for these assembly line stations was:

If the each of the tasks were to be assigned to only one station I, II, or III, how could the computer,using the data above matrix, assess the assignments to find if precedence constraints were violated or not?
