1. You are the lead systems engineer and have been asked to look at this mission support and make some recommendations. The new contractor supporting the Counterterrorism systems just made you aware that they are 6-9 weeks away from implementing an automated capability to fix 90% of critical message spill traffic. The new contractor has been on board for 5 weeks and when asked he researched and found that close to 900 messages are in the spill queue. Instead of allocating 3 FTE to work the spill queue like the previous contractor only one person is doing this work part-time today.
