Thay owned the following fixed assets during his lifetime: 

a. Primary residence purchased 1 March 2016 to the value of R2 150 000. The market value of the property on 1 April 2022 was R2 600 000. A dining room was added to the house in 2014 for the total cost of R175 000. The house was bequeathed to Charlie. 

b. A home in Maputo, Mozambique. This house was a bequest from Thay's late father (a non-resident). His father purchased the house initially for R80 000 in 1998. The house was valued at R250 000 in 2007 when his father passed away. The market value of the house on 1 April 2022 was R600 000 and R 610 000 on 31 January 2023. The house was bequeathed to Max.

c. A 12 meter motorboat, purchased on 1 October 2012 for R400 000. The motorboat was inherited by Max. The value of the boat on 1 April 2022 amounts to R230 000, and R235 000 on 31 January 2023. d. A 2013 Volkswagen Jetta, cost price R280 000, market value on 1 April 2022 was R80 000 and on 31 January 2022 it was R70 000. The car was inherited by
