The Director of a Mississippi county jail. It is my responsibility to gather the correctional officers' and give them a security briefing. I let them know about the current problem involving the abduction of a MALE inmate and a FEMALE correctional officer earlier in the day. All of the information that investigators presently have concerning the disappearance has been presented to me the director. My objective is to tell the team about the scenario during the security briefing by giving them the most pertinent and crucial details so they can comprehend the seriousness of the problem and how they can assist. But I have to choose what information should be left out of my briefing:

*4pm Friday, April 29th county jail in Mississippi

*During this AM shift A -female officer left facility with male inmate -taking him to mental health evaluation at court house.

*Surveillance shows female officer leading male inmatesecured his wrists and ankles shackles out of jail.

*Officer nor inmate returned -around noon shift A officers reported them missing.

*It's assumed inmate subdued officer on way to courthouse and she is against her will being heldcould be in danger.

OFFICER DETAILS: 56yrs old, Caucasian 5'5 with blonde hair weight 145she has distinctive "waddling" gate with her age. No children and divorced. Went missing on her last day workin at facilityretiring after being with us for 17 yrs. During her tenure she won "Employee of Year" 4x. She was Correctional Officer and Assistant director.

INMATE DETAILS: 38yr old, cacuasion 6'9brown hair weighs 300lbs. Size will stand out. Might use disguise. A LOT of tattoos. Including symbols related to white supremacist gangmight be having assistance within gang. On meds to help regulate behaviormight be decent person on meds. Did not leave facility with meds. Extremely dangerous when not medicated. Violent with law enforcement. Meth addict. He extensive criminal history: serving 75 years for a previous crimes included multiple carjackings, robbery, and two murders. Earlier life he served a prison sentence for beating his own brother with a sledgehammer. He is said to have extra security monitoring him because he had recently spoken about attempting to escape the facility. He reportedly said that if he ever got out of jail, he'd find and kill his ex-girlfriend and her sister.

Facility Details: Houses 310 inmates. 3 security shifts per day. Shift A-18 officers 8am-415pm Shift B- 17 officers 4pm-1215am Shift C-16 officers 12am-815am 12 pods, 144 holding cells, 4 special needs cells, 1 medical area and 1 suicide cell. ALL processing, booking, and testing occurs here. New Officers must have: Certification from Board on Jail Officer Standardsstate training and completed 96 hrs State Mississippi Standards and Training Jail Board mandated basic training.

SINCE MISSING-Gas station manager see Officers Squad car heading north towards courthouse. Courthouse confirmed NO appt for inmate was scheduled or made by courthouse or at courthouse. Around 2p, Officer car abandoned no where near jail/courthouse.

Other officers stated that this officer gave special treatment to inmate. When taking inmates to courthouse needs to be escorted by TWO officers. Officer has been spotted coming in on days off to visit other officers. Suspected to meet with inmates.

Not confirmed but romantic suspicion. Officer recently put her property up for sale and accepted low officer.
