The first and possibly most important step in gathering external links is creating content that inspires others to link to it. Therefore, it is important to get some practice trying to create such link-worthy content. There are literally thousands (and perhaps tens or hundreds of thousands) of possible examples of good linkable content that have helped improve websites' organic search rankings. But examining past examples is no guarantee that you will be able to come up with good content on their own.

1. After you have watched the video, please review the "white board" that was created that summarized the "Top Ten Types of Content that Work Best for SEO". 2. Pick any two of the link types. (Don't use # 6 or 9 as they require more technical sophistication than is reasonable for you or the average web manager.:-))
3. Come up with the idea for a piece of content of the two category types that you have selected that would be useful for the Charm City Chocolate website.
4. Explain why you have chosen the links that you have. Why would those links be valuable / attractive enough for others to want to connect to them?
5. What is the feasibility for this organization to create the content required for these links? What should the tittle be for your link ideas, and does that really matter? If so, why? If not, why not?

NOTE: The presenter in the MOZZ video mentions "Evergreen Articles" several times. This is a bloggers buzzword that you may not be familiar with. In case you haven't encountered it before, it refers to an article that remains fresh with the passage of time, like a "how to" article, (like an evergreen tree), as opposed to a time sensitive piece like a news article, that has a best-before date.
