The iPhone iOS operating system is being tested against the Android 10 operating system to determine which operating system experiences fewer system failures. Fifteen out of a random sample of 150 phones using the iOS operating system experienced system failures within the first eight hours of operation. Nine out of a random sample of 140 phones using the Android 10 operating system experienced failures within the first eight hours of operation. The researchers believe the iOS operating system is more stable and thus should experience fewer system failures than the Android operating system.
