The jury trial system does have problem areas including discrimination, cost, and it may just not be the right solution as it once was due to staggering caseloads. Jury selection today has discrimination concerns even though it has come along way since its inception, but more work simply needs done prevent this. The cost of the jury selection is tremendous for what people view getting selected as a nuisance rather than a right. Currently requirements to improve the quality of the master list, and providing more comfortable facilities for jurors need made.
