The laboratory has provided the same blood sample to four different toxicology analysts to compare values across analysts. The analysts will use the identical equipment in their testing but they are not allowed to share results, review each others work or let others know what they are working on. This is done on a yearly basis in most accredited crime labs. They have been asked to determine the concentration of THC (a chemical found in marijuana) and report out their results.
