The purpose of this assignment is to develop and deliver a wellness/or energizer icebreaker within a safe and comfortable learning environment. Icebreakers are often used to set the tone of the delivery of instructional modules. They can also be an energy break giving trainees an opportunity to refresh themselves during the learning experience. In our class we will use our icebreaker to help to set the tone for our class, create connections between learners and the trainers/instructor.
Assignment Expectations:
Each student will deliver one icebreaker (see schedule)
Prepare a wellness or energizer activity.
The icebreaker will be delivered in-class.
The activity must take no more than 7 minutes.
The facilitators will prepare a one-page lesson plan (using the template provided) of the icebreaker. The lesson plan provided is the template to be used and will be submitted to the assignment portal on the date of presentation.
Participation from ALL students is expected during the activity, if required.
