The process development group wants to evaluate 2 new formulations A and B for the Wonderdrug tablets to see if their dissolution (% of API dissolved in 30 minutes) is comparable or different from each other and from the current (reference) formulation R. To do the comparison we collected 12 tablets from each of the three formulations (A, B, R). Our lab has two dissolution apparatuses DA-1 and DA-2, each capable of analyzing 6 tablets at a time. Two chemists Peter and Jane - are available to conduct the study. Develop (manually) a table for conducting the experiment: who should test each of the 36 tablets, in which apparatus, and in what order. Explain why you proposed that plan. Explain how you would conduct the comparison of those formulations with respect to dissolution after collecting the experimental data and what your conclusions may look like after the analysis.
