The static route is manually configured and will only change as required. The static route assignment is the first routing exercise to help develop route configuration, topology design and network build.

Assignment instructions:

Using Packet Tracer Version 8; Build the following network topology and assign IP addresses with appropriate subnets;

Make sure to subnet to the 3rd subnet.

HINT: the device requirements will modify the initial CIDR.

Upload the entire PT file.

1) 2 Routers (2811; make sure the routers have serial ports)

2) 2 Switches (2960)

3) 2 End Devices (end devices can be servers or PCs)

Network address: 172.16.20.0/22

Configure the network for 60 devices

On Leg A IP address is 1st subnet

On Leg B IP address is 2nd subnet

Create static route from Leg A to Leg B (static route IP Address is the third subnet)
