Problem Statement One

The client wants to "define the universe of cybersecurity engineers" by leveraging data mining techniques that can gather information such as the title and email address of these industry professionals from previously determined sources. However, at the current moment there are no resources or procedures in place that allow Client to achieve this desired outcome. Without these data mining techniques being incorporated into the workflow, Client cannot accurately conduct a profile that will define and categorize the characteristics and skill sets of Cybersecurity Engineers. To that note, our Group will step in and utilize data mining techniques such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Clustering, and Association rule learning to discover and create the desired data model of Cybersecurity Engineers for Client.

Problem Statement Two

The Client wants to scrape relevant articles pertaining to the universe of cybersecurity engineers using data mining techniques. In addition to this, the Client wants to gather relevant information on professionals within organizations, email addresses, etc. Currently, there are no defined processes or methods in use that can satisfy the Client's needs. Without this process in place the Client could be exposed to inaccurate data that misrepresents the desired profile of a Cybersecurity Engineer. To achieve this our Group will use the coding language Python to set up libraries to hold this information. This will be done using an HTML parsing library such as Beautiful Soup, or other similar libraries to achieve this goal.
