Each truck needs 5 tires (4 plus the spare), two headlights, and 1 horn. 2) Identify 3 potential suppliers for each component. Continuing the example, tires are manufactured by Goodyear, Firestone, and Continental. 3) Staying with the tires, they are made from rubber, steel and nylon. So you will need to identify 3 potential suppliers for each material. Whats important is that each tire manufacturer MUST have a unique supplier for each of the components.
