This company has managed a variety of selling options to reach their customers wherever they are. One significant advantage of the use of brick clique and flip is the ability to offer a variety of sizes that do not have to be stocked in the store. Retailers, like Eddie Bauer use their online presence and catalog to offer sizes that you may not find in store. It provides more options and can draw in customers that they may not have been able to serve in the past. Eddie Bauer is has a strong brand image. I have noticed more recently that some of the larger retailers like Macy's or Kohl's linked up with brands like Land's End or Lucky to draw more customers to their store. Would you say that is an effective marketing channel for these brands or would they be better off selling like Eddie Bauer does, sticking to selling their own products.
