I have several strong, confident, assertive, God-fearing, gracious and beautiful women in my life. Growing up with these women influenced my life tremendously. I am female. The below is a list of characteristics I value about being a female.

Confident - There is nothing like a confident woman. She has the capabilities to do anything she puts her mind to do. She can be as feminine as she wants to and not compromise her confidence. For example, the First Lady at my church was a beautiful woman. She was also a nurse by trade. She was intelligent, beautiful, and confident.

Passionate - This characteristic helps to provoke and make change happen. Women are often judged for being passionate. But being passionate is always an excellent characteristic to have. It is necessary to create change and passion helps stay the course for change. I am retired and have seen a lot of unfair treatment toward women, equal pay, what to do with your body and sexuality. But it takes passion for standing up for the cause, for fighting for what is right.

Motherhood for me, motherhood is one of the greatest blessings. Of course, bringing a child into the world is something a man cant do. It is an excellent characteristic to have.

Assertive -. Society, in most cases, claims that assertiveness in women is a bad thing. But it is as essential as any characteristic a woman can have. To compete in this world, it is a necessity.

Gracious - Being gracious is the great equalizer. To be gracious, one is kind, caring, and loving.

Being a female is the great equalizer. Females have love, graciousness, assertiveness, and still be feminine, intelligent, and strong. So many characteristics that make up a woman. Being a female is great, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
