To delete a comment from a cell, you can $($select all that apply$)$:

a$.$ Click in the cell and click the Delete button on the Review Ribbon.

b$.$ Click in the cell and press the Delete key.

c$.$ Right$-$click in the cell and select Delete Comment from the contextual menu.

d$.$ Click in the cell and select Delete Comment from the Edit menu.
