  1. Start Microsoft Word or Outlook.
  2. Select a group of contacts in Outlook and begin the mail merge from Outlook OR Import the Contact list into Word from Outlook. Use at least 5 contacts. You can also create a new list from within Word if you desire.
  3. Create an address block at the top left of the document
  4. Insert a Greeting Line
  5. Write a few sentences on a topic you would like to inform the mail merge recipients about. i.e. your goals.
  6. Make sure to sign your name either by typing it or by using a Merge Field. (The signature field in Outlook will not be added to the mail merge emails).
  7. If completed as a word document, save the documents individually and upload them to Brightspace dropbox. If completed as an Email Mail Merge, screenshot the sent emails into one document and upload them to the Brightspace dropbox.
