At first it seemed minor damage and Afzal Motors quickly reported to its major customers Cavalier Group and Ghandhara Industries that delay to production would only be two weeks. But the actual report showed that damage was actually going to take months to remedy. Cavalier Group needed the automobile parts on an urgent basis to continue its car production. Cavalier Group put together a team to find a solution when it came to know that the production delays would be more than two weeks. Cavalier Group decided to re- source from another country's supplier but due to the current pandemic situation it was not possible for them to meet the requirement on an urgent basis. The CEOs of both organizations (Afzal Motors & Cavalier Group) sat together and to work together to accelerate the return of the plant to full production with the help of engineers of both organizations. As a result of this effort, there were minor delays to Cavalier Group's automobile parts shipment which was absorbable by this organization. On the other hand, the CEO at Ghandhara Industries was not quick enough and learned of the problem many weeks after the damage at Afzal Motors. It had a less proactive organization culture than its competitor. It was too late to find an alternative solution. Cavalier Group captured more of the market share and Ghandhara Industries took eight months to rectify the situation. Due to this disturbance, Ghandhara Industries lost the market share and exited from the mobile phone market.
