The warehouse is quite extensive, serving about 55,000 customers in the Middle East, Europe, and Australia in a year. The warehouse receives products from different suppliers worldwide for distribution to the retail customers before the start of each season each year and during the season. At the beginning of the new season, the delivery becomes critical since before the start of the season, the workforce is at peak stands at some 5,000 employees working in the operational department that drop to 1500 employees in off-peak. Due to the seasonal nature of business, the deliveries are very time-critical. The retailers demand that each item be present on the store's shelves on the first day of a new season. The organization has a strict policy to centralize receiving, storage and shipment of customers at one location in Pakistan and take benefits of lower inventory levels, consolidation of inbound cargo and better delivery service (instead of the different warehouses in Pakistan).
