Trying to develop a positive outlook: iRobot has a prominent CSR and DEI program they implement in their annual CSR reports. They have a48- contact report that includes products, production, places, people, and philanthropy. In their CSR program, they have a supply chain CSR with general environmental regulatory requirements. Their partners and contract manufacturers are expected to follow their climate change initiatives. They also have a supplier diversity program with equal opportunity. They choose to follow "IDEA," which is their version of DEI. I: Inclusion, D: diversity, E: equity, and A: acceptance. Attracting a variety of perspectives, ideas, skills, and cultural backgrounds, has helped the company reach target markets and understand how to price its products to maintain a high profit.

The product I chose would have a similar supply chain, and the contract manufacturers would not have to be expanded or changed. The policies that iRobot already has would help this new product hit the market and allow it to maintain control of this new blue Ocean strategy. A global team would increase experiences and perspectives and ensure that diversity, equity, inclusion, and acceptance are all met within the assembled project team.
