Two different site locations $($Site A and Site B$)$ are considered for the warehouse. Preliminary

geotechnical investigations of the two potential sites were conducted and the borehole logs

are attached. Consolidation tests conducted on soil samples from the silty clay$/$clayey silt

$($Site A$)$ indicate that it is normally consolidated with initial void ratio of $1,$ compression index

of $0\mathrm{.}1,$ and recompression index of $0\mathrm{.}03($in the range of the proposed pressure$).$

Design shallow and deep foundation systems for each of the two sites and prepare an
