Description

This leadership activity is aimed at stimulating critical, creative and strategic thinking as well problem-solving skills that can be useful in improving the competences of project leaders and team members to quickly scope a problem, plan and execute activities necessary for project success.

Survival Leadership Activities: Assume that you and a group of survivors were lost in the woods after a plane crash. Identify the resources that might be useful in that situation to help the team survive. Justify your selection of these resources and discuss how they would be used to overcome the circumstances. Describe the five-stage model of team development and discuss how you would manage this process to ensure that the project object of being rescued in the shortest amount of time is achieved.
