Date Todays date, to Mr Brad Tucker, vice president, from; your team lead name, regarding scheduling management council director. In response to your request, I am happy to act as program chair for this years luncheon meetings of the management council. Here is the tentative lineup of speakers I have scheduled for the first three meetings. August th Dr Mary Jean Lush, Psychologist, topic: Successful performance appraisal. October th Jeanette spencer President Spencer and associates, November th Dr KarenS. Powell, clearview Consultants, topic Avoiding Sexual Harassment Suits.
As you suggested, I consulted other members of the council regarding an honorarium for the speakers. Jim McClure, Judy ONeil and Elaine LeMay, and I agreed that $ was a reasonable sum to offer. The three speakers listed above seemed to consider $ an acceptable amount. For the last meeting n December, we have two topic possibilities. Which program would you prefer? Time Management for todays managers and effective use of intranets and web sites. Because other members of the council were evenly divided between the choices, they wanted you to make the final decision. On the enclosed copy, just circle the program you prefer. Please respond by January so that I can complete the schedule before sending out an announcement of the next meeting. Enclosure.
