The traffic light on the main road remains green until one of the following conditions are met:

b$.$ A time of three minutes has elapsed since any light turned green and there are three or more cars waiting on the side road.

Once the side road has a green light, it remains green for exactly $30$ seconds before turning the control back to the main road.

Green light for the left turning traffic is given before the green light for the straight traffic provided that there is at least one car in the left turn lane on either side of the main road. The left turn light remains green for one minute. Otherwise, the left turn light is skipped.
