Use the ACI Code to solve this question

You are required to carry out the design for the simply supported beam shown in Figure $2$ below. The beam has a clear span of $7\mathrm{.}2$ m and is supported by $350$ mm deep columns at both ends and carries a uniformly distributed service dead load of $12k\frac{N}{m}($including its self$-$weight$)$ and a uniformly distributed service live load of $14\mathrm{.}6k\frac{N}{m}.$

Use No$.10$ bars for stirrups

Clear cover $=40mm$

Maximum aggregate size $a_{\text{m}\text{a}\text{x}}=20mm$

a$)$ Determine a cross$-$section of the concrete and the area of steel required for the beam according to the ACl code requirements and make a dimensioned sketch of the beam showing how the bars are placed in the designed section.

b$)$ Say whether shear reinforcement is required and if it is indeed required, carry out the design for the stirrups. Make a sketch of your design.
