Part $1$

Input the data into an SPSS work sheet. Make sure that all your variables are labeled appropriately. BEFORE you do this think about how the data will be displayed $($read #$2).$

Construct a line graph for the time series data years $1$ through $5$ showing the number of vehicles manufactured by each automotive company. Show the time series for all four manufacturers on the same graph. Be sure you entered the data correctly. To do this, go to Graphs$/$Chart Builder. Choose Line from the Gallery and select the graph with multiple lines $.$ Year will be the x$-$axis variable and each of the Manufacturers will be y$-$axis variables.

Write a short paragraph explaining what the line chart indicates about vehicle production amounts among manufacturers from years $1$ through $5.$

Part $2$

Open CARS$2014.$SAV.

Construct a clustered$-$bar chart with Trans as the x$-$axis variable, Drive Description as the cluster variable, and HwyMPG as the y$-$axis variable.

Construct a scatterplot with the best$-$fit line using Annual Fuel Cost as the x$-$axis variable and HwyMPG as the y$-$axis variable.

Write $1-2$ sentences on the linearity of the relationship between Annual Fuel Cost and Highway MPG$.$

Construct a pie chart of Trans.
