Description

You will create w workbook for an application drawn from our own interest and application area. If you wish, you may develop a budget or financial planning worksheet for a personal situation. You may also create a workbook that can be used as part of an assignment for another course in which you are enrolled. Your assignment must include text, values, and formulas. The intent of the assignment is for you to utilize the majority of the Excel tools that we have covered.

Objectives

This assignment will measure your ability to:

Formulate and create spreadsheet models that facilitate problem-solving and decision-making.

Design and format a professional quality spreadsheet.

Covey data through the use of charts and graphs.

Directions

Develop a worksheet for a decision or analysis that uses at least three different functions from ones that we have discussed during the course. (Do no use the SUM function three times).

In a text box below the worksheet, or on a separate sheet, create a memo to me describing your project, what it is about, the calculation your spreadsheet performs, etc.

Create a chart. Select the type of chart based on what you consider to be one that will appropriately communicate the information you wish to emphasize.

Submit printed copies of:

Your worksheet(s) with chart(s) and textbox or separate memo as a document.

Cell formula(s) for your worksheet(s) (Can be in a Word document).

Submit your final project in the Final Project Assignment Folder in Week 6.
