Topic: Set Priority Group input Restaurant Simulation A restaurant need to have a simulation to make their capacity better than before. Here some fact regarding the process in the restaurant: Currently they have 20 tables for serving the customer. Each table can be filled with 4 customers. The Customers will come to the front service to be placed at certain table. The time needed to discuss and place the customer (if there is available table) is 2", 4",5" (min, average, max). At the table, a waiter comes to take the order and the time needed is 4", 7", 10" (min, average, max). Currently they have 4 waiters at the restaurant. The restaurant provide 2 kind of foods, a ready-made one and will take faster for the chefs to prepare: 3,5",6" (min, average, max) and a fresh cook food that will take longer for the chefs to prepare: 6,7", 9" (min, average, max). In average 60% will order fresh cook food and the rest will order a ready-made food. They have 6 chefs now, 2 is focus on ready-made food and the other 4 focus on fresh cook food although these 4 chefs also able to serve for ready-made food if necessary. After the chef cook the food, the waiter will serve to the table and the time needed is 1", 1.5", 2" (min, average, max). The restaurant is very famous for the great taste food, and normally 40% will have the second order and even 30% will have the third order. Do not want to make the customer wait too long, the waiter always make a note for the second or third order because it will be prioritize. Third order will be prioritize first then second order and the last is the first order. The normal time for customer to enjoy the food is 20", 35", 40" (min, average, max). The customer normally comes in groups of 4 persons and the average arrival is every 12". The restaurant have VIP membership card and those who use the card will be prioritize to get the seat (only to get the seat, the other process is normal). In average 15% of customer that come is VIP customer. Base on the fact above, please provide: The modelling of the process.
