You received the following letter from a customer, Mr Amzah Sulong, regarding his recent secondhand car purchase.

Dear Customer Service Team I purchased a Puegoust car at your car dealership outlet in Johor Bharu on 18 September 2022 but had numerous problems with the vehicle after only a month of use. Im upset with the secondhand car I bought for RM98,000 as I had to spend nearly RM20,000 on repairs in just a month.

After just one week of purchasing the car, its signal lights began blinking intermittently. When I took the car for inspection, I was told that I needed to clean the filter for RM350.00. That was the first nightmare of many to come. Water started leaking into the front of my car a couple of days after the first repair. I later discovered that this happened due to problems with the rubber seal. One week after that, the car's air-conditioning also started malfunctioning, and I was told a few days ago, during an inspection, that there were issues with the car's pipes, brakes, and other parts and that I needed to spend RM18,000 on a complete overhaul. Before purchasing the car, the car dealer informed me that the mileage of the seven-year-old vehicle was approximately 100,000km. I tried contacting the car dealership regarding the above problems, but my efforts proved futile. I would like this issue to be solved immediately and be compensated for my repair costs. Thank you.
