It depicts the sequence of activities in the project and also shows parallel activities and the links between each activity (PMBOK Guide). When outlined on a network diagram, the critical path is the longest path through the network.

the critical path analysis assignment must include activity durations, sequencing, a forward pass and a backward pass, early start and early finish, late start and late finish, and slack. It must clearly indicate the critical path.

New Holland is a city of 35,000 residents located on the west coast of Oregon near the ocean. It is the largest city in the county and has the countys only schools and only public library.

About 6 years ago, the towns library was damaged in a storm. All the books in the library about 20,000 in all were destroyed along with major damage to the roof and one wall.

For your project, you will restore the citys library. You will need to have fundraisers, fix the roof and one wall, paint the inside of the building, restore the restrooms, install shelving and 10,000 books, install a computer system, a check out desk, and anything else that needs to be done to get the library working again.
