Take a moment to view both video and respond to the questions below.

1) The first video showed some basic emotions that we all have, like anger, and how we use those emotions to cope with everyday life, even at such a young age. With that said, what other three emotions would you add, and how do we use those emotions to cope with every day life.

2) Out of all the emotions that you have, describe 2 emotions that help you cope, and how they help you cope. Then name 2 emotions that you think you need to work on, and how they can negatively affect the way you communicate.

3) In the second video, Ross, Chandler, and Monica experience a large variety of emotions all at once. Describe two of those emotions and how they affect their communication. You cannot use anger and happy, try a little harder to think of what other emotions are happening.

4) In this scene we see that Ross has an immediate reaction to the situation. Although angry, is there a better approach to that situation. If yes, what is it and why is it better. If no, why not, and why do you think his reaction was best?

5) In your own personal relationships, describe a situation where emotions got the better of you both, and how you both could have managed the situation better. What was the lesson learned, and what was the desired outcome? Since that incident, has it happened again? Why or why not?
