We have been exploring some basic specifications sections that involves major material components found in our buildings: especially concrete, metals and woods. Most of our working time is spent consolidating (putting together) specifications from different sources to create a base section of a particular material that relates to our work. Using three different sources of specifications each for a concrete, metal, and wood product, consolidate them into one specification that contains the pertinent information necessary for a proper 3-part specification. The materials should be based on your Studio 4 project design, where the intent is to use these materials in your design. - If you are currently not enrolled in Studio 4, then you are to use your Studio 3 project parameters. This Assignment is to be completed individually. Submission Documents - Use standard letter size paper (8.5" 11); - Provide a Cover Page to your submission. Use a specification-style format, using examples as given in class. This will be perfected in Assignment \#5. Include an image of your design in its current stage. - Submit a PDF of your final 3 specifications uploaded to the SLATE dropbox. Append the your 4 specification sections you found to your PDF. Procedure You will be provided a base specification for a concrete, metal and wood product. Find 2 additional specifications of each material to consolidate these requirements into the given specification. - In the specification you are altering, highlight the portions copied in from the other two sources. Use a different highlighter colour for each of the found specifications to highlight the incorporated sections you used; - Be cognizant of the basic technical requirements of each material, that you don't remove/alter pertinent data; - Ensure not to duplicate portions, even if worded differently. The idea is take the best portions of your found specifications, and incorporate them into your given third
