Define $$file system" in a way that a juror would likely understand. Include how various file systems differ from one another. Provide an analogy for explaining file systems to a jury. In preparing your response, consider the varying backgrounds of jurors. Some may have limited or no computer experience while others may have extensive technical backgrounds. Explanations should be simple and easy to understand while maintaining complete accuracy.

Option $2-$ Safety

Safety is a critical component of on$-$site searches. Considering that a crime scene has been properly cleared, discuss why it is important for a digital forensic analyst to be present during a search involving digital media. Should a digital forensic examiner request to participate in the initial crime scene walk$-$through? Why or why not?
