Instructions This exercise focuses on Jaime and Catherine, mid-level executives with a multinational corporation that manufactures clothing, handbags, and accessories in developing countries. The regional manager of the corporations site in Honduras is concerned about management practices and workplace conditions. Jaime and Catherine are charged with determining whether management practices and workplace conditions are compatible with corporate standards and Fair Labor Association (FLA) principles. The employees from whom Jaime and Catherine can gather information may be scared of retaliation or generally mistrusting of corporate management.

Read the "Manufacturing Misconduct: What Would You Do?" situation in Chapter 13 found on page 398 of your textbook. Provide suggestions for how Jaime and Catherine can investigate the situation. Discuss ways to gather information and signs that would indicate standards and principles were not being met.
