At your scheduled status meeting, your Program Manager kindly lets you know he had a hunch you and your team were actually working on a stakeholder and organizational analysis so you could develop the gap analysis as input to developing the requirements management plan. He expressed his concern about the level of project management maturity in the agencies. He explained that in similar past projects other organizations have reflected an equivalent level project management maturity simply because they have always done things the way they evolved over long periods of time, and need to be exposed to alternative proven approaches. He further explains he had a discussion about this matter with the undersecretary who requested you put together a presentation explaining your approach.
