Weeks $2$ and $3$ Discussion, Part $2$

The discussion assignment is an excellent environment for sharing ideas with others and learning from the comments others provide to your discussion post. With this discussion, you will be meeting the following learning outcomes:

Discuss the various e$-$commerce business models.

Discuss key e$-$commerce business concepts and strategies.

Assignment: Select one of the B$2$C or B$2$B business models provided in Chapter $2$ of the textbook. Discuss the value this business model seeks to provide. Search the Internet and select an e$-$commerce business that provides an example of this business model. Discuss why.

NOTE: This is a graded assignment that is two weeks in duration. In order to receive full credit for the second week, you must:

Make at least one reply to three of your classmate$$s initial posts.

Replies should be at least one paragraph in length, and should:

Provide a polite, substantive reaction $($agree or disagree$)$ to your classmates$$ posts.

Advance the discussion by providing another real$-$world example that you feel provides an example of the business model being discussed, and why.

Provide a summary post$*$

$*$The summary post is a one paragraph summary of what you learned this week by reading your colleagues' posts. In order to do the summary, reply to your initial post with the phrase "Summary Post" in the subject line, and then add your one paragraph summary.

Be sure to review your writing for grammar and spelling before posting.

Provide at least two references to support your initial post. Properly cite them in the body of your post.

Read any postings already provided by your instructor or fellow students. See the Discussion Rubric for how you will be evaluated for this activity.

Remember to read the feedback to your own major postings and reply to it throughout the assignment.
