When a patient is in the room with you but not of their own accord it is almost impossible to break through to them. There are those cries for help that we hear about, but a patient really has to be an active participant in their therapy. What would you do if a patient did not really want the help you are offering? What is your opinion on clients or patients suffering with mental Illness that makes them irrational?
