Why is it important to update Feed Status prior to conducting a GVM vulnerability scan?

The GVM scanner is prevented from conducting a scan until the feed status is up to date

By default, at install, GVM includes nearly $100,000$ NVTs$.$ This is sufficient for a complex and full and complete scan

Feed Status should not be updated unless it is greater than $30$ days old

NVTs may be updated daily. To ensure the scan includes the newest NVTs$,$ update the status prior to conducting the scan
