Windows Server supports multiple storage options using internal drives. However, in the real world, most networks are configured utilizing dedicated data storage devices.

For this discussion, research a 3rd party storage device or storage subsystem (i.e. not made by Microsoft).

For your initial post, address the following questions:

1. List the make, model, and cost of the 3rd party storage device or storage subsystem. Describe both thefeaturesandbenefitsof this storage subsystem or device.
2. Would this storage system be appropriate for a larger company with 60 servers and 1000 workstations?Explain why or why not.
3. Would this storage system be appropriate for a small company with 2 servers and 25 workstations?Explain why or why not.

NOTE:

1.This discussion is about storage devices and systems that can be installed locally. It isNOT about cloud storage.

2.While researching the cost and capacity of storage systems make sure to include the actual storage medium (i.e. drives) in your evaluations. For example, there may exist a NAS system capable of 50TB storage capacity using 8 drives. However, if you only include 1TB storage, then you must evaluate this storage system's functionality with regard to questions #2 and #3 as a 1TB system.
