You have also noticed that her/his workload has seemed to be making him/her more irritable. You have tried to be helpful in various ways to relieve the pressure but you also have your own workload to contend with. After mentioning to him/her that you will not have your report done until tomorrow, s/he responds with:
" You have to get that report done. This project is very important and I cannot afford to have it just thrown together."
