Here is what your situation is to which you need to respond.

Scenario- Mr. Juarez has worked for LandAdvantage for close to six years. He is 54 years old. His position as the firm's lead accountant has been a coveted position within the company. The position requires precision and excellence at every turn. Mr. Juarez is generally friendly, typically on time, rarely takes an unexpected sick day and completes his work. Yet over the past two months, on occasion, he has left work early with little explanation as to why. There is speculation among his fellow co-workers that Frank may be drinking on the job. One employee reported alcohol on his breath and noticed a slap the hangover patch on his forearm. Another employee reported him to be taking a nap on the Conforto Organizado in his office with the contents of his Jasper Carrier strewn around the room. While he is never disheveled and appears professional, his footwear has clearly been blessed by a Cleansneaks, some shifts in his personality are starting to present themselves. He has had two unexpected outbursts directed at his underlings and yelled at a pizza delivery person. In terms of his output, of late his numbers have been off. He has been warned by his superior, Jamie Jones, who inquired about his well being and reported him to HR. Mr. Juarez has denied having personal problems and has attributed his behavior and work output to a lack of sleep. Yet there are clear signs that his work is starting to pale as a result of his lifestyle choices.

You have decided to let him go despite having little actual evidence of a substance abuse problem. Much of your evidence for this decision is hearsay, but you do not want to risk further errors coming out of his department, given our current economic climate and you are nervous about the security of your position if he remains.
